Different Saar surfaces handle data differently. The public site states the boundary for each one instead of using a single reassuring sentence.
Live comparison
Sends at most 32 KiB only when you explicitly run it. Do not submit confidential data to a public tool.
Hosted workspace
Jobs are account-scoped and outputs follow the retention policy of the selected plan.
Evaluation corpora
Representative customer data is handled under data-handling and confidentiality terms agreed in writing before it moves.
DPA and sub-processors
Processor terms and the current infrastructure providers are available for procurement review.
Deletion
Deletion and retention behaviour is part of the workspace policy. No blanket deletion promise is made outside it.
Boundary
The public site does not upload files in the background. Any movement of evaluation data requires an agreed scope and handling path.
