Scope and current services

This notice covers the Saar marketing website and the public Saar workspace interface operated by HEOSSI. Account registration, hosted compression jobs, usage metering and payment services are not currently active. Selecting a file in the interface does not submit it to a processing service. The separate live benchmark is available: when you explicitly run it, up to 32 KiB of selected bytes are sent to the Saar server hosted on Vercel. Saar application code processes them in memory and does not write input files or results to persistent storage or application logs. Results, including the input hash, are returned to your browser. Vercel may process infrastructure request information under its own policies. Do not submit confidential or personal data. Selecting a file alone does not upload it.

Website requests and third parties

These applications are hosted on Vercel. Serving and securing the websites involves processing request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps. The current applications do not install advertising trackers or analytics scripts.

The benchmark explorer offers an optional source-status check. This asks the Saar server to retrieve public lzbench repository metadata from GitHub. It does not send Saar source code, selected files or account credentials to GitHub. If you choose to load the independent leaderboard, your browser contacts aitdcc.github.io directly. That provider receives ordinary connection information and controls the embedded page, its content and its privacy practices. No Saar files or internal benchmark records are submitted to it. Links to independent benchmark sites and HEOSSI services open services with their own privacy practices.

Enquiries and privacy requests

If you contact HEOSSI, information you choose to provide is used to respond to your enquiry. Do not send confidential datasets, credentials or payment details through a general contact form. For access, correction or other privacy requests, contact HEOSSI through the corporate contact page.

Before hosted services launch

HEOSSI must document the processing purposes, retention periods, service providers, account controls and relevant data transfers before enabling hosted customer workflows. Planned retention or processing limits shown in the interface are not a statement that those services are operational.
