Business Continuity
This page describes continuity and recovery arrangements for the hosted Saar service. It is planning information, not a guarantee of recovery time or data loss. Signed enterprise terms may add specific commitments.
Hosting and dependencies
Hosted functions run on Vercel, with private blob storage for job files and a managed PostgreSQL database. Payments and tax run through Stripe. The portal functions are configured for the Singapore region (sin1). Provider regions, backups and redundancy depend on the configured provider projects.
Backup and recovery
- Database backups are provided according to the configured database provider plan.
- Job result objects are retained for the configured period; deletion is scheduled and not instantaneous.
- Configuration and code changes are version-controlled and deployed through the application pipeline.
- We test restore and deployment paths as part of engineering verification.
- Recovery point and recovery time objectives are not guaranteed unless stated in a signed agreement.
Customer planning
Customers should keep independent copies of files they cannot afford to lose, monitor their own workflows, and configure retention and exports appropriate to their risk. A hosted output is not a backup service.
